I received the Brightest and Best Headlamp Flashlight with Red LED light by Vitchelo at a discount in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
I never thought that I would use this product or fall in love with it. I had no idea as to what I would use it for. Okay, I hike, extensively so I thought there is that. I have never owned a headlamp at all so this product i thought would be a challenge for me. Not so, it has easy to follow instructions for set up. I didn't need those instructions, just popped the batteries in and it was ready. I did however read the inserts in the package in order to learn more about the product.
This product has a red light as well as a white light that allows you to see up to 110 meters. It also has a flood (wide) or spot light that can be dimmed if you need it to be. There is also a boost mode that can boost your lighting with just a touch.
You can use regular batteries or rechargeable batteries. I am opting for rechargeable batteries as we just can not keep batteries in our home. There is a lockout feature to prevent your battery from draining accidentally and it is waterproof IPX6.
The adjustable strap makes it easy to fit even my grandson and it is very comfortable. You also have a tilting option so if your reading a book you can get the best possible positioning.
I have been reading at night and I use this headlamp. No more lamps for me. I also used it Friday evening when I was checking the oil in my car. It was dusk and hard to see so I got my headlamp out. It is so much easier using this because it is hands free. I am now looking forward to my first night hike of the season. Well, I will probably try it this coming month if it warms up. We are avid hikers and campers. So it will come in handy. I would also love to use this while caving. It would be perfect for that. But my baby is only 5 so it may be a few years before we can do that again.
This product exceeded my expectations and I am glad I have gotten the chance to try it. We will be investing in at least 2 more before doing any night hikes.
