I received Lori's Salt Caramel Syrup for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I live in a world where fried chicken is a weekly meal. Watermelon is loved by all and considered a summer staple. Biscuits and gravy are served almost everyday and molasses are left sitting on the kitchen table to be had by all. So when I had the opportunity to test this product I was excited. I expected something along the lines of pancake syrup. That was not the case at all.

Lori's Salt Caramel Syrup is a caramelized cane sugar with mineral water, Tahitian vanilla, GMO free Boyajian maple, and Celtic sea salt. It is fat free, all natural and has a taste of sweet and salty. There are only four ingredients in this product so I was surprised at the delicious taste.

I used this product on a batch of pancakes and loved it. It had a very pleasant caramel flavor with just a hint of saltiness. It is a perfectly balanced flavor. I did not stop there. I had to try it on ice cream. It was much better than the caramel products on the market. Have you ever tried to google the ingredients in caramel sauce? I had no luck at all. It is like they don't want you to know. I also had to have this in my coffee. So I made an iced caramel frappe, homemade. You definitely can not do that with molasses or regular pancake syrup. I plan on placing this on top of my oatmeal in the morning. I can not wait to try it. However, I know it is going to be great.

Lori's Salt Caramel Syrup is made by a company called French Connection which was founded in 2009 in Ashland, Oregon USA. I found Lori's story amazing and inspiring. The fact that this product is made in the USA gives me another reason in which to purchase for my family.
